Since the founding of the Art Complex Museum in 1971, the museum’s permanent collection has grown to include more than 8,000 objects, with major strengths in American paintings, Shaker furniture and crafts, Asian arts, American and European prints, and additional treasures.

Tiny Treasures

The magic of miniature objects is celebrated in this exhibit of small, extraordinary items from the museum’s collection. The exhibit features items from around the globe, demonstrating a universal curiosity in small objects. These include: tiny Fabergé eggs, Japanese netsuke, Chinese jewelry and hairpins, carved jade, Shaker smalls, Egyptian amulets and scarabs, religious icons, Native American baskets and fetishes, works on paper, and more.
