Needle Felting is a fairly new art medium, developed by women who wanted to stretch the envelope of working with the barbed needle used for 3-D wool sculptures often done in Montessori schools. It has since expanded globally with many oil and watercolor painters finding it a wonderful way to create images.
In this class you will learn the basics by observation and practice. Betty will first demonstrate a few techniques, and then give you a small practice piece to work on. After some practice, you will begin to work on a wool painting of flowers in a vase.
