Instructor: Dianne Stanton
No previous basketmaking experience is necessary to make this basket, as instructor Dianne Stanton walks you through all the steps. The final basket will measure 17” long x 12”wide x 8”deep (excluding handles).
Tools for students to bring to class: Your lunch, a bucket or dishpan, a small towel, a pencil, an awl or knitting needle, scissors and/or diagonal cutting pliers, and some clip clothespins.
Stanton is an artist who has been weaving baskets since 1977. She has taught and exhibited her work nationally and internationally.
Registration Fee: $80.00
Materials Fee: $48.00 (Payable directly to instructor on the day of the workshop)
