Would you like to display a new kind of holiday wreath? Learn to make these origami versions!
Origami wreaths are versatile, year-round decorations. They are easily made with plain or decorative papers, and provide lightweight, versatile, attractive décor for many areas in your home.
- Hang wreaths on a wall, an inside door or over a table
- Lay wreaths flat on a table, with a vase, tree or candles in the center
- The pockets in the wreath center and around the outer edges may be filled with greens or flowers and glued into place, to enhance the wreath and make it larger.
- Wreaths are reversible; a slightly different design is seen on each side of the patterned versions
You will learn how to create the basic folded structure and make as many as you want! Then they are glued and interlocked together. You will leave with a completed wreath to enjoy during the holiday season!
Please bring a lunch. Coffee, tea, and water will be provided.
Instructor: Andrea Plate
Fee: $60 plus a $10 materials fee to be paid directly to the instructor on the day of the workshop.
